Jonathan and I decided to drive to Utah this weekend to visit his family and had a great time. Our nephew and his soccer team won a big tournament and we just enjoyed the nice weather. Then on our way home (we decided to cut the trip in half and stay with my sister who lives in southern Utah, Cedar City) well right as we were pulling up to her street (at 1am) our tire starts thumping and the lovely smell of burning rubber let's us know we've blown a tire!
Well for most people, no biggie right? Right, but our car happens to have the oddest tire size and so we spent yesterday morning calling tire places, getting laughed at or hung up on (no joke) and finally having our car towed the 200 miles to Las Vegas to the closest Mini Dealer and getting a new tire. Then to top it off we missed the turn coming home and came down through Flagstaff instead of Winslow! Ahhh! What a trip. But all is well and we are back home! -darby
