EDIT: If you need inspiration. This photographer, from Chicago, is pretty much considered the best children's photographer in the United States.

this week jonathan and i were sitting around - or as it actually was, I was wrapping up work for they day and jonathan came into my office. we started browsing our own blog and were enjoying looking at jonas' weekly pictures.
doing weekly pictures of my baby has not been 'easy'. and i've missed a few weeks. but overall, it has been amazing to have these images to look back on. when i take his picture each week, it's pretty informal. i'll usually just snap 10-15 pictures to have a memory.
as we sat looking over the different weeks were could remember things about his at that age and it was delightful to see his growth! this is something i'm defiantly going to do with each of my children.
so the challenge is for other parents to do this. we've been at it for 7 months now and i've never once regretted taking so many pictures. and i know my kids will love seeing how they looked when they are older.
we like to do our shoots on the lazy sunday mornings and so it's not a big deal or a big pain to do by any means. i've also found myself becoming more creative. i mean i can't always just have pictures of the turkey inside because it's hot out. we have to try new things!
so that's my challenge. you won't regret it, i promise. and you don't need a nice camera or photoshop. just pull out your little pocket camera and get documenting!
